Morning storm topples trees at Tai Seng MRT and along CTE
The heavy downpour that flooded Orchard Road earlier in this morning continues to wreak havoc in other parts of Singapore. STOMPer sawthetlynn saw this fallen tree on top of two vehicles near Tai Seng MRT station, while another STOMPer spotted fallen trees on the CTE.
Said the STOMPer:
"This happened on Irving Place road, near Tai Seng MRT station this morning.
"2 cars were hit by this tree.
"I was returning from my office when I saw the entire road blocked by this fallen tree. It is completely inaccessible now.
"Nobody was injured as the drivers were not in the car."

There are so many old & possibly rotten tress around, just waiting for a storm to fall & cause collateral damage or kill someone. What's being done about such trees???
