Although it was raining heavily, these dare-devil boys were not deterred from playing football on the Bukit View Secondary School field, says STOMPer Jason, who is worried for their safety.

Although their persistence is admirable, the danger of a lightning strike is too real to ignore, says the sender.

In an email, he says:

"These footballers are disregarding their safety and have been playing football for an extended period on the grounds of Bukit View Secondary School in the heavy downpour.

"These footballers played on for probably about an hour, from slight drizzle to heavy downpour.

"Their unwavering persistence to kick on is indeed admirable. However, they really should have put a heavier value on their lives.

"It will not be a glorious sight to witness any lightning strike on any of the footballers."

Luckily there was no news came out in the newspaper saying, boys playing at Bt View Sec Sch died being strike by lightning. Just like what happened in African league few years ago. I seems to agree with stomper Jason,

"It will not be a glorious sight to witness any lightning strike on any of the footballers."

Playing in the rain, minus the lighting, is fun and joy, don't you know?

This is a very common sight. They think it's so fun to play in the rain. Being struck by lightning is considered rare, but it does happen ! Don't play-play ! Once kena, you either stay paralysed and regret for the rest of your life, or dead, better off cause you wouldn't know what happened. When the sky turns grey, you better get out of the field. This also applies to walking in open areas. When a drizzle starts, better scram. When you see a lightning from afar, immediately lie down and do your NS stunt and crawl your way out of the field.
