Faulty switch replaced to fix lighting problem at Hougang Ave

The lighting problem at Blk 642 Hougang Avenue 8 was caused by a faulty switch, which has since been replaced, Aljunied Town Council says.

On March 14, a STOMPer had reported that lights have been faulty despite the rise in conservancy charges.

In a statement, Aljunied TC says:

"We thank STOMPer for the feedback on 14 March 2010 on the lighting problem at Block 642 Hougang Ave 8.

"The Town Council was alerted to the lighting switch timing on Saturday, 13 March. We conducted a thorough check on the same day and the faulty switch was replaced.

"We are grateful for the feedback as this will help make Aljunied GRC a better home for everyone.

"Residents may also contact us at 6744-1033 at any time during normal office hours."

Seriously, I think I should walk around my estate, take pictures and stomp.
It's more effective than emailing or calling them. And CallMeKP is right, their responses are much decent..

It becomes very obvious.

When you write to them, or called them, "We have checked the problems and there is nothing wrong with the lights" or "The problems was caused by an act of the contractor who upgraded the electrical systems recently. We will call them to rectify the problems expeditiously."

Now that you STOMP them, they have to appear nice.
