Yet another lift lobby misused as personal laundry
Tweet
This lift lobby in an HDB block is another victim of residents' "personalisation", says STOMPer Hope.
The entire lift lobby of this fifth-story lobby is taken up by laundry hung out to dry.
The clothes are not only hung on six different racks, they are also draped over the balcony.
In an email, Hope says:
"An awful sight that one sees when taking the lift or walking up/down the stairway.
"Lift lobby 'decorated' with different laundry daily ."

New Year, New Image! Is this what we want?
If you ever pay Hougang Ave 5, Blk 334, a visit, you will be stunned by the amazing clutter (old cabinets, discarded air-conditioners, washing machines, chairs, mahjong tables, massive flower pots and burners, bicycles, newly installed cupboard and shoeracks, etc.) along all the common corridors and staircases. Most residents have practically extended their private spaces from their homes to the common areas. Is HDB or the Town Council going to do anything? The longer it is left behind without order, the more difficult it is to educate the residents. Can someone do something about it!
