World class city but S'poreans continue to air laundry in public spaces

It is a shame that some Singaporeans have the cheek to hang their wet laundry out to dry in public places like this Compassvale Bow playground, says STOMPer Keep the faith.

This goes to prove that although Singapore has attained world class status as a city, some residents are still lagging behind, he says.

In an email dated November 21, STOMPer Keep the faith says:

"This was at Compassvale Bow.

"I understand that the recent weather has not been kind but this is a public playground for kids to play, not your personal laundry drying ground.

"Ugly Singaporeans.

"All the ugly sides of Singapore, despite attaining world class reputation. :-(

"What a shame."

how do u know its a Singaporean work? With so many foreigners now in SGP, it could belong to a MIC product. Foreign trash population is now > than S'poreans.

Fyi, i live on 12flr, there's a Malaysian chinese family who lives in a corner unit & she would go round the whole of 12flr to catch the Sun to dry her clothes. Even in front of a family's main door, lift lobby. So we nicknamed her the "Sun Catcher".

So pls don't accused your own fellow S'poreans without 1st confirming their nationality.

LOLOLOLOL think they got the idea from one of the TVB Hong Kong TV series, where a group of aunties will put their thick clothes bedsheets blankets to dry at playground and they take turns to "look after" them so funnie...

Singporeans are no better than foreign "trash"....just look around you in ALL HDB estates.....99% Singaporean and just as trashy....sad to say
