This pretty kingfisher feeds on lizards, frogs and even snakes
A STOMPer was at Pang Sua Park Connector when he spotted some interesting things, including this pretty blue kingfisher that apparently eats snakes!
Jogger told STOMP via email today (Sep 1):
"These pictures were taken at the Pang Sua Park Connector that runs between Verde View and the canal.
"The collared kingfisher (Halcyon chloris) is found in parks, gardens, and near canals.
"It feeds on lizards, frogs, small snakes and fish.
"It has a blue back and a white collar that is a prominent division between the crown and back."
