STOMPer Jessica spotted two boys burning the ropes on this painting gondola, as well as the plastic barriers around the equipment.

"I was on my way home from tuition when I saw these two boys behaving suspiciously around the void deck.
"I saw them holding lighters, and felt something was not right, so I went upstairs and looked back down.
"They were trying to burn the rope that was tied onto the construction rack. They had also burnt the protective orange layer which was meant to tell people that they should not go near.
"Should they even do this? What if the construction workers coming back tomorrow to continue painting the HDB block and something goes wrong? *touch wood*
"They are indirectly playing with the lives of the construction workers.
"I wanted to go down and confront them, and purposely coughed loudly from upstairs.
"When I heard footsteps and looked back down, the boys had gone and an uncle was using his bag to put out the fire (the fire was burning the orange plastic).
"The boys came back using bottles to put out the fire. What 'professional' actors they are! Firstly they burn the property and were now trying to act kind to help to put out the fire!
"I hope something would not happen to the construction workers.
"I intend to write a note and paste it on the rack tomorrow morning so that they will look out and be more careful."
