STOMPer Flat pancake noticed a daily crunch at the JCube walkway just next to Jurong East MRT station, and feels that the grass patch should be removed to make for a wider walkway.
Says the STOMPer:
"These 3 pictures tell the story better than a thousand words.
"This is the daily crunch at the Jurong East MRT walkway near the JCube building.
"Every day thousands of commuters have to cross this narrow walkway to reach the MRT station.
"Part of the walkway is sealed off.
"Thousands of pedestrians have to squeeze through the narrow cement walkway to cross the road.
"Part of the grass patch should be removed and be converted into a walkway sufficient to cope with the thousands of commuters and shoppers.
"The owners of JCube and the SMRT should cooperate to ease the crunch and make life easier and better for the residents of Jurong East."
