AMK Industrial Park cleared up, contractors reminded of their schedules: NEA

The National Environment Agency has ensured the Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park was cleaned up, while also reminding their contractor to be mindful of their cleaning schedules.

This response came after a STOMPer was annoyed that rubbish remain uncleared along the industrial park, even after three days.

A spokesperson for the National Environment Agency wrote:

"We refer to the posting 'Rubbish left unclear along Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park for 3 days (Apr 24)'.

"We have cleaned up the site and reminded our contractor to adhere to their cleaning schedule. The area is being cleaned thrice a week. We will monitor the site closely.

"We would like to thank the STOMPER for his feedback. We also agree with fellow STOMPERs that everyone has a part to play to keep the environment clean by not littering and to use the bins provided."

Lame response after the fact. The whole of Singapore nowadays seems more dirty n smelly than it was 10-yrs ago.
