A fire broke out at a HDB block in Marsiling Drive earlier this morning (May 04), reports STOMPer Rafie. The STOMPer had heard a bursting sound before seeing thick smoke coming from the incident area.
The STOMPer wrote:
"I was in Marsiling Sec today (May 04) when I heard a bursting sound at about 10.10am in the morning.
"I turned to look at the direction from where it came from, and saw the fire in Block 4 Marsiling Drive.
"The smoke seem to have covered the entire corridor, and maybe even entering the homes of others as I saw some residents running out of the block.
"A cleaner in my school then made a call to the SCDF about the fire. In a short while, I saw the fire engine arrive to handle the situation.
"I didn't see anyone who was hurt in this fire.
