Brother and sister, MeowMeow and MeeMee, are worlds apart

They may be brother and sister but MeowMeow and MeeMee are worlds apart, says STOMPer WanLing.

The STOMPer says:

"Back in September of 2008, I found him and his sister (MeeMee) with their mother in the stairwell of the multi-storey carpark. They didn't look more than a few days old.

"I took them in the next morning to feed the mother but she ran away after a day. I couldn't find anyone to adopt them, but since my parents were taking care of them, bottle-feeding the both of them all the way, they just naturally became part of the family.

"My mother has her way of making things simple. Hence, the boy is called MeowMeow, and the girl, MeeMee. (Meow Mee is the anglicized version of 貓咪.)

"The boy is really different from the girl. Meow Meow is always curious, running about and getting into himself into tight spaces, literally.

"When he was maybe about six months old, he fell from the window, to three floors below. We almost died of shock to find him downstairs whining away. Luckily he suffered only a broken canine and continued to grow up quite fine. (I suppose he has 8 lives left now.)

"His favourite places to sleep are: inside of cupboards (with fresh laundry), top of my wardrobe, and under my bed.

"He likes pork and chicken, and loves to pick on human food when we aren't looking. I think his preferred entertainment is bird-watching & lizard (gecko) hunting.

"The photo with him in a weird postures is one of the funniest. I think he just finds it comfy to groom his stomach that way."
