STOMPer Emilee's quaker parakeet loves taking pictures and is always posing for the camera. Just look at this photo of him. He even has his own Facebook page under the name 'Green Green Eio Kang'.

He will be turning three years old on July 17. Happy birthday Green Green!

Green Green is a parakeet who prefers walking to flying, much like Blu in the movie, Rio.

Emilee said:

"He can do a number of tricks, imitate us at doing voice exercises, showing off his wings on command. We just need to wave and he will say 'hello'. His favorite toys are bells. He will hold on to any bell, use his feet to hit them against the floor or hard surface, and then listen intently.

He also answers to his own name when we call him.

Once, he flew down 12th storeys from my kitchen window and landed two blocks away at a playground. A heavy downpour occurred and we, his 'dad' and I, were so afraid we will never find him. When the rain had stopped after 15 min, the birds and Green Green all came out of hiding and he answered when we called out to him.

He actually recognized our voices. And when we walked to the playground led by his calls, he just nonchalantly strolled out from under the slide where he had been hiding and stepped onto his 'dad's fingers like nothing happened. Only the tip of his tail and wings were wet. Thank God he was fine. I love him so much!

He has many parrot friends all over the world on his Facebook.
