Yokie the terrier is true blue Singaporean: She loves durians

STOMPer Jason says his ten-year-old Silky Terrier, Yokie, loves durians -- just like any true blue Singaporean. Yokie may be a small toy dog but she definitely is a very strong swimmer.

The STOMPer tells us more about Yokie:

"Yokie is a ten-year-old Silky Terrier.

"I wanted to give her a Japanese name like Yuki but thought it might be too common. So, I decided on Yokie instead which also doubles up as 'Yorkshire' in short even though she’s a Silky Terrier and not a Yorkshire terrier.

"Yokie loves to eat durians and is a strong swimmer. She can swim from the shore of Tanjong Beach at Sentosa across to the opposite islet.

"She is affectionate and never fails to cheer me up when I am home after a hard day’s work."
