STOMPer Rachel, 39 year-old Accounts Executive, was initially afraid of her pet parrot Una as she was 'huge' compared to the other parrots they owned. However, Una soon endeared herself to the STOMPer with her playful ways, even allowing to be hand-fed, like 'a baby'.
Rachel shares:
"She has a habit of pulling my shirt whenever she sees me, she also perches on my arm and rubs her head against mine.
"My husband was the one who bought her, and he liked the name Una.
"One day when I was cleaning her cage, she pulled my sleeves and seek for attention. That was when I realised she is pretty harmless, after which I start playing with her daily.
"She likes to clamp her beak at my finger as she still thinks she's a baby whenever I hand feed her.
"As I feed her most of the time, she often rubs her head against mine as if I am her mate."
