Got service or not?
Wrong pizza delivered, but manager insists on sending someone to check if we're lying

When STOMPer Arvind called Rite Pizza's Keat Hong branch to inform them of a mix up in his delivery, the branch manager insisted on sending an employee over to check if they were lying.

The STOMPer says:

"Rite Pizza's service is not right.

"We were having a dinner party and had ordered two Rite's pizzas, one barbeque and one super spicy chicken.

"However, the latter order did not come out 'rite'. We believe what was delivered instead was healthy veggie.

"When we contacted the Keat Hong branch, the employee who attended to us provided a very logical solution, to send a replacement.

"However, 2 minutes later, we got a call from the employee saying that her manager decided she would send a representative to 'check' if we were lying about our report.

"If we were right, they would make us wait double the time by going back to the outlet, collecting the order and then bringing it back all the way to Yew tee.

"Their manager, Helen, had the audacity to 'claim' that there was CCTV footage of them getting it 'rite'.

"They questioned our integrity. The manager only agreed to send us a replacement pizza when we suggested paying for the replacement if we were wrong.

"The service here obviously was not 'rite'."

Lesson to learn. Check your item before paying. Dont give 100% trust on services anymore.

U should request for a free meal as they said they check on CCTV that they did put chicken into the pizza then why should they send someone to verify again. U have to wait for another 20mins for the right pizza to delivery to you.

When the balance of the "wrong" pizza was brought back by the rider, there was spicy chicken in the pizza. A guy and Mdm Shanti subsequently came to the shop personally. We showed them the pizza and that there was spicy chicken in it. Both of them kept quiet and only complained that our handling of the issue was not well. Mdm Shanti actually offered to pay for the replacement pizza if there was in fact chicken on her original pizza. Subsequently, no money was actually paid for the replacement pizza even after we showed her that there was in fact chicken on her pizza.

All companies have their own policy. When any of our staff make mistakes, we will definitely make a replacement for the customer and penalize the staff. However, we definitely do not accuse customers of lying.

I was on duty last night and this was not the case, as described by Arvind. The customer, Shanti, called to complain that there was no spicy chicken in her super spicy chicken pizza. She immediately threatened to go to the press. As Helen was off duty, I called Helen to check how should we handle the case. Helen immediately double-checked with the staff and informed the manager to look at the CCTV to confirm if chicken was put on the pizza. After looking at the CCTV and confirming that there was indeed chicken put on the pizza, Helen called Mdm Shanti and verified if she was sure that there were no spicy chicken and offered an option to Mdm Shanti. Mdm Shanti insisted a replacement must arrive by 30 mins. Helen offered that the pizza will reach before 20 mins due to Mdm Shanti's having visitors at her place. Out of good will, Helen told the staff to add more ingredients for this replacement pizza.

Don't buy la.. You have no "rite taste" to enjoy the good pizza they have to offer.. helen is a good boss and i work there, fyi checking on the pizza isn't wrong, if there's been a mistake, helen would definitely replace it immediately.. i don't see the ingredients in healthy veggie, so you must be wrong.
