So this is where cabbies 'hide' before peak period

STOMPer Fay says she saw cabbies 'hiding' at Block 171 Hougang Avenue 1 before the peak period.

Said the STOMPer:

"I was driving into the carpark at my block at 5.20pm, when I saw a row of taxis drivers at the covered walkway.

"When they noticed that I was taking a picture of them, they left hurriedly left.

"I knew that the covered walkway is a good area to hang out as it is hidden from the public's view.

"This must be the result of the fare hike.

"This is where they have been hiding.

"This is truly disappointing, since most people would not be able to get a cab till after 6pm.

They don't need to hide one la.. if you take cab over then you should know.. some cab can even wait beside the taxi queue and don't pick anyone up until people call to book...
