Bun expired for over a week, but still sold in store
STOMPer DK was alarmed to discover that the buns his mother had purchased from a 7-Eleven store in Tampines had expired over a week and a half ago.
Said the STOMPer:
"On Jan 5, 2012 at 6:15 a.m., my mum patronised the 7-Eleven store located in Tampines Control Station and purchased some bread for our breakfast.
"When I finished the bread bought by my mum in the morning at 8:45 a.m., I realised the bread had expired on Dec 24, 2011, so it should have been consumed before Dec 24, 2011.
"This is very irresponsible to allow consumers to consume expired bread.
"The manager called me and tried to settle this incident but it seems like there was nothing he could do.
"He just kept repeating, 'Sorry madam, I really don't know what to say'."

Your mum also have a responsibility to see the expiry date before buying. Don't just simply chuck all responsibility to the shop.
There are thousands of items in a shop and they could have missed it. If your mum and you can miss seeing the expiry date why can't another human miss it too?
How much is it worth anyway? A few dollars? Since you still got strength to STOMP, means you didn't die after eating it. Come on, don't be such a spoilt brat and do something yourself!
Just learn from it and move on. Next time open your eyes before buying.
