Got service or not?
OpenNet down? mio subscriber goes 4 days without internet, cable TV or digital phone

STOMPer Nelson could not use any of his mio services since Dec 1 and this is the fourth day the STOMPer has gone without mio TV, internet or digital phone. Apparently, technicians told the STOMPer this was due to the OpenNet cables.

Wrote the STOMPer (Dec 4):

"SingTel mio service down since 1st Dec 2011.

"Could someone care to explain why mio services have been down since Dec 1 and the technicians still are unable to rectify the fault?

"Apparently this is due to no light source from OpenNet cables.

"I had to endure without mio TV, an internet connection as well as no digital phone line for the 4th day.

"This is totally unacceptable!"

Apparently, all those blaming singtel are blind people.
PON light not lighted up is open net problem as there is no signal, not singtel.

Whaleshark is right, problem lies with open net, however do you know that open net is a subsidary of singtel?

I have no down time since 11 March 2011.
I am also using that same Ericsson T063G.
Also 2Wire 5012NV-002.

Maybe is your area not so good/not fully ready yet.

You should see what M1 have for complaints.

Mostly all are due to bad cabling and bad network management.

It will be better if you wait about after 6 months after the Fiber point is ready then sign up for the fiber plan.
After they install the OpenNet Fiber point at your home, they need time to do troubleshooting etc. After 6 months it should fix most of the problem around your neighborhood.

4 days without internet service only, why are you KPKB here? for what? There so many service providers out there, who ask you to choose such a provider? Next time open your big eyes before you sign the next contract. No one will pity you even you KPKB here.
