There was a 'no trying' sign which was not noticed by STOMPer Joanne when she tried the opened sample, thus the salesgirl forced her to buy the sample after she tried it.
Said the STOMPer:
"I was at the small road show sales counter located at the lobby of my company building.
"I went to look at the cosmetics and tried out the eye shadow which was opened on display.
"The salesperson right next to me immediately shouted to me that I cannot try which is after I already did so.
"If she wanted to stop me, she could have stopped me as there was no other customer around.
"After that they demanded me to buy the product and say that there's a 'NO TRYING' sign which was located on the other side of the counter and not within my viewing range.
"I refused to buy as it is a norm for customer to try out the product before buying them and the lady started making a big fuss raising her volume.
"She even demanded to see my supervisor when I still refused to purchase it and tried to reason it out with her.
"The owner of the next sales counter came over and said that we could see the security record for proof but the fact that I didn’t deny I touched the product and I was saying it shouldn’t be right for me to purchase it.
"She made it too embarrassing for me by attracting other people and the attention of the security that I had to give in to her but she still continued attacking me verbally and I felt offended.
"The product is actually very old and there were signs of wear and tear on the casing.
"If it was a product that couldn’t be tried why would it be in such bad condition? Look at the photos attached."

So do anyone here think that a prestigious brand like C.Dior will allow such a old vintage stock or badly tarnished packaging to be sold off their counter? Or allow their girls to allow such situation to happen? COMMON SENSE. Obviously NO!!! So is this post silly and redundant? Obviously YES!!!
For the rest who have no idea and thought that this stomper is right. Do understand that she did not purchase from the christian dior cosmetic counter. The sales girl that she encounter this with wasn't a sales girl hired by dior. Its some ulu or fake shop that she tried and got forced to buy from. Yet now complaining on stomp. How pathetic. Tsk
Firstly. Look at the packaging. The eyeshadow design. ITS SO VINTAGE?! I guess my granny probably used it during her era? or My mum during her younger days? And u even tried it?!
Secondly. High possibility that its fake. Christain Dior cosmetic counters are where u can find the REAL and AUTHENTIC products and there is where SUCH SITUATION WOULDNT HAPPEN. Its unfair for u to bring christian dior and their sales person name down when u are buying it off some unauthorized shop where the sales girl aren't employed by christian dior. SHAME ON YOU!
