Service with a bang -- rude eatery employee practically throws our food on the table

STOMPer Kathy says this rude employee at Century Square's Toast@Work practically threw her plate onto her table when she delivered it.

Kathy wrote:

"We were asked by this woman where we were sitting when we ordered our food at Century Square's Toast@Work.

"My hubby told her that we had not found a seat, so how can we tell her where we will be sitting?

"The lady who serves us was not happy when she heard this.

"When she brought our food to our table, it was with a loud bang - she literally threw the plate on our table! This is a very bad experience!"

If the husband had spoken nicely to the staff and yet she behaved badly, then stomper should write in to the management. Of course if the management is fair, they will not fire an employee based on just 1 complaint. It will be in the records, tho. If the management receives a couple more complaints from others on this same employee, then management should fire her, that is if it is a company that believes in customer service.

The staff asked your husband which table you were seated at but look how he replied? According to what you quoted your husband having said to the staff, it definitely sounded arrogantly rude. You reap what you sow, as simple as that. Perhaps if he was a bit more polite, the banging plates or bowls would not have taken place.

Toast does not charge service charge, is a no frills dinning establishment. Don't expect too much. I experienced s harder than usual placing of my plate of mee by their staff as well. It was during the early hours of opening, I was probably the second customer. I let it go without an issue, if we make a fuss over every little thing, we will probably be a lot busier and grouchier.
