As compensation for an unpleasant delivery experience, the manager of Pizza Hut promised the STOMPer a 50% discount off his original bill of $51. However, he found out today (Aug 16) that he was still being billed the full sum.
The STOMPer wrote:
"On Aug 9, I placed an online order for Pizza Hut delivery at 6pm.
"However, to my dismay and utter disappointment, the pizzas were delivered at 9.25pm, and only after I had called at least three to four times to enquire on my orders. There were no follow-up calls until my last call at after 8.30pm.
"To compensate for the extremely unpleasant experience, I was informed by both the restaurant manager and the call centre on the same night that my original bill of $51 would be discounted by 50%.
"Three days ago, I received a call from the feedback manager assuring me that the 50% discount would definitely be honoured, and my complaints on the delivery service were being looked into.
"However, when I checked my credit card bill today, I found out I was still billed the full sum of $51 by Pizza Hut!
"I had invited relatives to my place on Aug 9 to celebrate National Day and the celebratory mood was totally smashed by Pizza Hut's poor delivery service!
Oh Yeah Oh Yeah Oh Yeah...!!!
now how?
