Boss’s attitude was so bad when we told him that his fish was not fresh

STOMPer Sandra was disappointed that the popular fish head steamboat at Balestier was not fresh and even angrier that the boss’s attitude was so bad upon hearing feedback.
In an email to STOMP today (Feb 28), the STOMPer says:
“The popular fish head steamboat was a disappointment!
“The fish was not fresh and the boss’s attitude was very bad when we told him that the fish was bad.
“Will never patronise this keng fish head steamboat at Balestier anymore!”

Go to the one at Whampoa hawker centre. Hoover fish-head steamboat. Super good and cheap. $18 for the small one and it's more than enough for 2 person with chunky angoli, vege and seaweed. Family of 4 can order the medium size or the big one depends on how old your kids are or whether you are a big eater or not. Close on Tuesday. Of course no ambience lah but super-delicious. Make my mouth now 'lau nuah'. Think I will go there tomorrow evening with my family. I will order the 'lor neng' and fish roes as side dish. Hoh seh liao!

Yup, they increased price and standard dropped. I finally got the correct name of the shop, it's "Whampoe Food Street(Keng) Fishhead steamboat". We definitely won't patronize them any more,.

Yeah I stopped patronizing that fish head streamboat too. Price up so much cause the cost for their new RED tables and Renovation transferred to us, customer lor. And most important is the FISH ! Have to be fresh if seling fish head steamboat mah.

since they become popular the food also increase price by more than 50% and not as fresh... they will lose more customer if they continue with this kind of attitude.

We didn't really ate the whole thing cos it's sting!!!!!!! 7771 happy , the name of this shop is: Keng Fishhead Steamboat, located along balestier road facing main road and you are right, it's next to the Caltex Petrol Station. Last time the boss operated his business at a stall located at the Whampoe Food Centre, now he had 2 outlets located at Balestier Road and Rangoon Road managed by both his wife and mistress. What made us angry was that he blamed the man who delivered the fish to them as though they are not at fault.

Who want to hear negative item specially when you are the BOSS. Only for show time, they will ask for all feedback to improve.. else shit you.
