A STOMPer said he and his wife were harassed by a worker of a stall at 313@Somerset's Food Republic, to pressure them into ordering from her stall.

Said the STOMPer:

"I had a very bad experience at 313@Somerset's Food Republic on Dec 11 evening.

"My lovely, pretty Wife was sitting in front of a vacant stall near to the Sushi.Sashmi.Kushiyaki stall when I went to order dinner from another stall.

"As I was bringing my food back, I saw an old lady disturbing my lovely, pretty Wife to 'force' her to order their food and threw a menu in front of her.

"My wife looked very uncomfortable sitting at the vacant stall.

"I told her not to be worried. We were not sitting at the old lady's stall area.

"We were sitting in front of a vacant stall and there was no signboard on it."

He said the old lady then tried to intimidate them when they refused to buy from her stall.

He said:

"The old lady then snatched the menu after seeing us starting on our meal.

"She was so rude and made a lot of noise and purposely started to put many sets of plates and chopsticks to occupy all the empty seats beside us.

"Isn't this considered as hard selling?

"Are the Food Republic manager and the management of 313@Somerset aware that the old lady was doing it?

"Just be careful when you meet that old lady, who was wearing civilian clothing, from the Sushi.Sashmi.Kushiyaki stall at Republic Food at 313@Somerset."
