When STOMPer DicksonNJS signed up for Singtel broadband, he expected professional service. To his dismay, the staff left unsightly wires all over the house, making it look more like a factory.
The wires dangle and coil in many different corners of the house messily as Singtel did not even provide a casing for them.
STOMPer DicksonNJS says in an email dated December 14:
"My dad and I signed up for Singtel broadband two to three weeks ago.
"We were informed that the day of installation was five working days from the sign up but I received an email after a week saying that installation would only take place on December 8.
"I received them at home and this friendly foreigner helped me with the installation.
"After awhile, two other staff came to install Mio TV. They were very fierce and rude.
"They went off after installing Mio TV.
"The friendly foreign worker then proceeded to connect the wires and ask if I wanted a chip on the wall.
"I felt it would be neater and because he did not give me any other option except for buying a wireless thumbdrive for the modem, I agreed to it.
"He helped connect the 20-inch wire and I felt that it was awful and made my house look like a factory.
"I thought Singtel would provide some cover casing to cover the wires but they did not so the wires were left hanging.
"The attached pictures are what Singtel has done and my dad is not happy about it."

So instead of just complaining, i switched to maxonline and starhub mobile. Come to think of it, if it wasn't their competitor, i think we'd still be paying exorbitantly for their "services".
