Got service or not?
My Flashpay card got stuck but NETS staff doesn't care

STOMPer Truly Disappointed says she paid for a NETS Flashpay card but no card was dispensed. She called the hotline but was unhappy with the customer service.

She elaborates:

"I was trying to buy a NETS Flashpay card from the kiosk at Raffles Place MRT station.

"I paid for it but no card was dispensed.

"I called the NETS hotline but the customer service officer was more interested in getting my IC number, full name and address rather than the transaction number or card number. I didn’t even provide name or IC number so what is the point of verifying such details?

"I am annoyed that the only solution they could provide was to investigate and mail the card to me. I was already standing next to the machine.

"I had to wait close to an hour for a supervisor to call me back and she told me she had no idea when the technician could come down and fix it.

"The machine doesn't dispense cards. Doesn’t that warrant the urgent attention of your technicians or technical teams? At least there should be some notification on the screen for people who are trying to purchase the cards.

"I am appalled by their customer service. Knowing I was upset, she still insisted they will do it by registered mail or alternatively, I could pick it up from their Tiong Bahru office.

"If I wanted to do a refund, I had to wait 14days after they retrieved the card.

"As a new user I am not only disappointed at my first attempt at trying to purchase the card but at the same time, with the poor customer service NETS provides.

"It is an unpleasant customer experience!"

people who thinks that a technician or engineer is readily available when u need them is an idiot!

NETS or COL machien seems no difference. the customers ervice personnel are more insterested in fulfilling their callers id than assisting and reducig frustration. very robotic!

Nets service is really lousy, complain also no use they will reply u they will investigate den never bothered to get back to u, y use nets, use cash better. I have stop using nets long ago

No hard feelings, i think there's nothing wrong with their service towards you. You fail to provide certain details which they need in order to log a report and u choose to wait there, hopefully their technician will come on the spot to rectify your issues. Solutions given but not accepted and yet complain. But i do agree this new card are bringing inconveniences which are not able to top up in any machines in MRT stations.

ok lae they responded quickly enough. and admin thing hav to wait one what. think u impatient ba. u try calling singtel, HAH! see if u manage to talk to a human anot. tho of cos unacceptable tt machine nv produce.

NETS is all about profits. they don't care about anything else. they know that in singapore they have the upper hand as it stands, so they must be thinking, what for try harder?
