SingPost getting worse: Sends wrong mail, bends my letters

STOMPer Ong says SingPost's service is getting worse, as he spotted mails for the opposite block left at his block, and got his mail all bent.

Ong elaborates :

"I find SingPost's service is getting from bad to worse.

"I found a letter dropped under a pile of pamphlets, so I picked it up thinking maybe someone may have accidentally dropped it and wanted to put back into the resident's letterbox.


"The house number was invalid for my block. So I looked at the block number.

"Goodness! It was a letter meant for the resident opposite my block.


"I'm staying at Block 118 and the letter was meant for the resident at Block 116.

"How could the postman be so careless? What if it's an important letter?

"Maybe this explains why I am always missing mails, especially bills, and I have to to pay an extra fine for that.

"Also, is SingPost postman able to read English? I doubt it.


"My school mailed me my certificate and it's stated 'Do Not Bend' on the envelope. Yet they still folded and bent my poly certificate.

"What kind of service is this? SingPost should give us an explanation."

yeah at woodlands ave 6 also. they always sent to the wrong unit nos. And I also wonder how all the flyers can get in my letterbox , although i already lock. Is this the work of a postman also..Singpost, can you answr for tis?

dear stompers....just to share with you all.....i came to know that next day delivery of ordinary mail are not guaranteed....and if lost....no compensation......same same in other countries.

Singpost offer the worse service and its getting worse and worse everyday. i have had numerous bad encounter with them. They are quick to blame customer for anything that goes wrong, rude postman, rude customer service officers, delay delay delay and still blame customer for delay. i have proofs and evidence for all my statements here. My fellow stompers, please use their shitty service at your own risk, they'll smile and take your money and blame you if they lose your delivery

i always receive my neighbors mails. always kanna lost packages. i think they steal. i sent a letter and package to my address before and the package lost lor. letter received. i feedback to singpost. problem solved for few months, now missing items again. hai...

eekkslop....if u dont feedback abt poor service who will know....?????....i have said earlier that i complained and they send their staff to see me and afterwhich i did not experience any misdelivery until today.

@florawinx: You say human make mistake. I agree. But for SingPost this is mismanagement. They seem to be outsourcing the delivery so much now the QC has dropped a lot. I believe the aunties doing the delivery are not even being briefed on the importance of these mails. SingPost is hurting their reputation but the management plainly does not care.

nothing new! worst letters sent to wrong addresses and response got delayed and the sender will insist the effiecency of posts service and considered delivery!
