A STOMPer won $50 after buying a can of Heaven and Earth Green Tea but was told by an employee that all the prizes were already given out. He felt that it was an unjust promotion.
N.O told STOMP via email yesterday (Sep 1):
"I purchased a can of Heaven and Earth Green Tea a couple of weeks back and had won $50.
"But I ended up being told by an employee of H&E, Miss Ho, that they were unable to give the prize as all the prizes had been given out.
"I was so surprised to hear what was told as the promotion will only end on 30 Sep.
"It's still a month away, and all the prizes were given out.
"I felt that it was unfair as I am a rightful winner as well, but why wasn't I given the prize?
"If H&E wants to run a promotion, they should have enough prizes for all the winners, or at least give the correct number of prizes on the tab.
"I tried calling almost daily for at least 10 times on the number provided but there was always no answer.
"I believe there are a lot more winners out there trying to claim their prize but ended up with nothing.
"Worse is if the winner is a $10,000 winner.
"This shows how lousy H&E management is."
