Got service or not?
Over 30 parcels go missing after STOMPer sends them via this Pasir Ris post box

STOMPer Wong posted over 100 parcels into the post box located opposite Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School on May 26 and till today, more than 30 parcels still remain undelivered.

She has lodged a complaint with SingPost and is still waiting for their response.

The STOMPer wrote:

"I would like to raise the awareness of those who stay near Pasir Ris Drive 4.

"I dispatched more than 100 parcels sent in envelopes, both bulky and non-bulky) into the post box located opposite Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School on May 26.

"I understand that it should take around 1 to 3 working days for the mails to be collected and delivered on weekdays via normal delivery since our postmen do not work during the weekends.

"I was horrified to receive complaints from at least one third of my customers saying that they have yet to receive the parcels I have already sent out more than a month ago.

"I have lodged a complaint with SingPost after over 10 of my customers complained not receiving their parcels after 2 weeks.

" The staff told me that mails are sometimes undelivered because of a wrong address, they would then return it to the sender address.

"I waited for another week but I did not receive any parcel.

"I called the SingPost hotline again and again but I was irritated that all they did was to ask me to wait.

"I finally asked to talk to their manager after the 4th week. She was very friendly and helpful. She told me she would conduct another check and get back to me within a few days.

"However, 2 weeks have passed and no one has yet to contact me.

"I wanted to report this to the police but they advised me against it and asked me to continue calling their hotline for assistance.

"I am very disappointed with their service.

"I am still waiting for their response and I have sent those affected customers their items again which they have already received as well as made refunds to those who requested.

"I have made a loss of around $250 to $300.

"The total number of parcels that are still undelivered is more than 30 now. I would like to urge everyone to send their important mails via registered postage just in case."

My experience worst. The postman without pressing the bell, assume that nobody is at home and left the registered parcel notice at my door... Pek chek aaaahhhh!!

Since the items can be dropped into the post box and the hole is big enough..it cannot get lost & gone missing like that ..should report to the police!

Why do they engage and recruit pinnoys in call centre???when called them it all handled by them!!!

Since we always being compare to european country and being world first and any postal in these country have their jobs given to do foreigners rather than citizen ??

I send 2 parcels out at the same time, only 1 was delivered the bigger parcel disappeared. Contacted Singpost on the website they noted the information and then nothing happens. Its been 5 weeks. This is not my only encounter with Singpost poor service. BAD REAL BAD.

I heard this wasn't the first case that people got their parcel missing. There was once someone mailed 30kg clothings and the whole thing went missing, it couldn't be tracked either since it wasn't a registered mail. Singpost's quality is degrading. It wasn't this bad in the past, but ever since FT starts to take over, many problems occurred. And worst, whenever we call to seek for help, we have to get pass the communication problem because it is hard to understand what those FTs are saying.
I saw ppl talking about EMS, understand your feeling, 'cause that's what happened to my friend too. Parcel took almost two weeks to be delivered after reaching S'pore despite using EMS. And Singpost even have the cheek to tell her to go down to Paya Lebar personally if she wants to collect the parcel, if not she have to wait till the next week if she wants it 'cause they claimed they are busy?? (The parcel had already reached S'pore for more than a week by then)
All I can say is Singpost sucks.
