Cinema website glitch double charges patron for tickets
STOMPer JH says he was double-charged for five tickets by Shaw Cinemas' booking system. He also noted that the website was loading very slowly at the time.
The STOMPer relates his experience:
"There is a glitch in the movie booking system on Shaw's website that causes it to double charge.
'I was booking tickets for The Avengers 3D for a party of five on April 30, at the total cost of $71.00.
"The booking system was loading slowly and was jerky.
"Later, I noted in my bank account statement that I was double charged with two transactions of $71.00 each.
"I think Shaw needs to review their booking system and implement more error-checking mechanisms.
"My advice is to always verify your expenditure on your statement."

My SIL's bf got e same experience from Cathay but his case was worse. 5 times of e transaction. I should check my statement everytime from now.
