STOMPer shopper thanks his lucky stars he did not buy this washing machine at Best Denki's Century Mall outlet, as he found the same machine on sale at their Parkway Parade -- for $311 less.

"A couple of weeks ago, I was at Century Mall's Best Denki shopping for an 8kg washing machine.
"A sales staff there recommended a Samsung model WF0804 on offer at $1,299, down from the normal price of $1,699.
"I asked if there was any further discount, but was told that offer price is final.
"He further confirmed that the offer price would be the same throughout even if I were to buy from other Best Denki outlets.
"However, I did not take up the offer, hoping to strike a better deal elsewhere. A few days later, I happened to be at Parkway Parade and decided to check out the prices of washing machines there.
"To my great surprise, the same Samsung model was on display there with the offer price of $988. A further check with the staff there further confirmed that it was a brand new piece and not a display set.
"It was quite shocking to note the great disparity of $311... Mind u, it's not just $31,but a great difference of $311 lower than the offer price of &1299!
"What came to my mind then? I was of the impression that there could be a third Best Denki outlet offering the machine at even lower than $988.
"Is that possible even after assurance from the sales staff at Century Mall that offer prices would be the same islandwide across all Best Denki outlets?
"Luckily, I did not take up the offer at century mall. Or else I would have felt bitterly 'cheated' and disappointed!
"Could Best Senki, or Samsung care to clarify the great disparity in promotion prices offered between different outlets?
"In light of this, I feel its very cumbersome having to check prices between different outlets for future purchases. As such, I personally don't feel at ease and have lost confidence to shop at Best Denki again!"
