STOMPer Vanessa was appalled to discover a strand of hair in a pancake bought from the food outlet, Mr Bean, and that the cheese was not properly placed in a burger bought from McDonald's. These led her to question the quality checks performed by these reputable brands.
The STOMPer wrote:
"I was shocked to find a strand of hair in the midst of eating a pancake from Mr Bean.
"At the same time, I felt angry and puzzled for that strand of hair was rather long and highly visible to be missed.
"Also, the slice of cheese that was to be placed in between the buns for the McDonald's fillet-o-fish is obviously an act of ignorance. How can one turn so blind to such occurrences?
"I believe there is a need to review the attitude of the workers as well as the standard of quality-check, especially when the products are not up to standard despite having come from reputable brands."
