Debris cleared, residents reminded to use incense paper burner: Tampines TC

Town Council workers have cleared debris left behind by the residents who burned incense paper near this block in Tampines. A poster reminding residents to use the dedicated burners has also been put up.

In an earlier article, STOMPer Dorna had spotted residents burning incense paper at Block 491B Tampines Street 45 in the middle of the road in front of the block.

A spokesperson for Tampines town council wrote:

"We would like to thank STOMPer Dorna for the feedback.

"The Town Council have cleared the debris and an educational poster was put up at the notice board to remind residents to use the designated incense burner provided.

"Should there be any other feedback, residents can contact us at 6781 2222.

"We thank STOMPer Dorna for alerting us-  Everyone plays a part to make Tampines our best home."

Come on Town council.
THis practice has been there since donkey years and there is no way that this is going to end.
Why insult our intelligence by putting up posters.
Save it man..
