Man puffs away beside 'No Smoking' sign, but coffeeshop staff don't stop him

STOMPer juxtaposes saw this man smoking at a table with a 'No Smoking' sign, and claims the cofeeshop employees did not tell him off.

The STOMPer says:

"This happened at Uncle Louis Cafe 899, a coffeeshop at Woodgrove.

"A man in a white singlet was seen puffing away at a table beside a 'No Smoking' sign.

"Staff from both the tzi char stall and drink stall passed by while looking at him taking his puffs but did not approach him to reprimand him."

no point posting this cos the response would be as follows... reprimand him, he looks at you blankly and continue smoking... ask coffeeshop employees to reprimand him, they just smile at you... call NEA, they say noted but sit on their buttocks still... call police, they say not police matter, refer NEA :)

Agree with harveykid. It almost seemed as if there's a surge in number of smokers. Am guessing
1. Surge in no.of smokers who are ignorant of the rules.
2. Smokers who knew the rules, but now realised that NEA officers are not omnipresent.

Its happening everywhere, some even walk into the stalls with a lighted cigarette and order food as if nothing happened. Some will smoke just outside the coffee shop boundary and smoke there and just throw the butts on the floor. Hope NEA officers can nap these chaps and fine them heavily.
