A STOMPer is concerned to see this girl, who is apparently underaged, smoking openly in public and showing off the photos on facebook. The STOMPer wonders how underage smokers manage to get cigarettes, when the law in Singapore bans the sale of cigarettes to minors.
Said the STOMPer:
"Underage teenage girl smoking in public and even took pictures and uploaded it on facebook.
"Singapore has set a minimal age limit for smoking to prevent teenage smoking, the restriction in purchasing of cigarettes for teenager acts as a second layer of protection for these minors.
"But how did they get past these layers to purchase the cigarettes?
"I have to say, I am very disappointed with this matter, as I have seen teenagers smoking not only once, but many times and in public.
"Some of them even took pictures and 'show off' to their friends. What is becoming of the society now?"
