These jaywalkers near Bugis Junction could've easily been knocked down by oncoming traffic
STOMPer Rachel sent in this video showing pedestrians crowding in the middle of the road near Bugis Junction as they waited for the traffic light to turn green. Some pedestrians were even seen jaywalking.
Said the STOMPer:
"This video was taken at the pedestrian crossing near Bugis MRT and Bugis Village.
"About 200 pedestrians were tidily packed at high density in the middle of busy road, an average 4 person/sqm, spilling out to traffic lanes on both sides.
"People even jumped over the railing to jaywalk.
"They could have easily been hit by oncoming traffic."

Good to see the large crowd. At least the enconomy is booming at the Bugis area.
