"Bag thief, return my valuables and I won't press charges"

STOMPer Jeslin, a shop owner, is asking the man who stole her bag from her shop to return it. She says she will not press charges and will even reward him.

Jeslin said in an email to STOMP yesterday (Sep 21):

"I was working one day and was closing up my shop.

"When my colleague left the counter to help me, my bag got stolen.

"These images were clearly caught on CCTV.

"Please return me my valuables. I'll reward you and will not press charges."

Wow reward a thief that steal from you ! That the most absurd idea I have heard of.
To ensure that justice is done,file a police report.let the police catch the culprit so that there wouldn't be another victim.
How can you offer a reward to the offender ? What world are we in now ?!?!
