Army guy, why so hao lian? It's disrespectful to hang No.1 uniform in train
STOMPer Jay was annoyed to see an SAF NSman hanging his No. 1 uniform in the train.
Said the STOMPer, who saw the NSman last Friday (Sep 16):
"A SAF NSman was seen hanging his army uniform on the East West Line train.
"He was oblivious to the surrounding and his action was disrespectful to the army and the country.
"He is indirectly insulting the army with this ugly behaviour."

it doesnt have anything on it to show that it is SAF number 1 uniform what. other ppl dun doesnt know, thinks is just a normal uniform.

According to what i know,the number one uniform is of highly prestige and should be be openly shown to public (when not in a parade) or even hanged anywhere else in the public. It is the best of the best uniform, and one should therefore hold it and stand should he not want the uniform to be crumpled. It is also suggested that he use a opaque uniform bag instead of a transparent one. By doing what he did above, he is not showing respect to the uniform by not properly 'taking care' of it and thus, he has no right to wear this uniform. I believe those who criticizes the stomper and thinks that this is nothing wrong had not worn the number one uniform before and therefore, also DO NOT DESERVE to wear it. Please follow up on the conducts of the army before even posting such shameless comments.

Train so empty hang no1 uni dosent disturb anyone at all. If he held in his arms while seated then the shirt will contact people seating on his left n right causing discomfort to others, crumple the no1 also. He had great respect for the no1 n didnt want to crumple it, great respect for others not to cause discomfort to them. What wrong is that sia?
