Caught in the Act
Be careful when you travel: See these audacious pickpockets in action

Pickpocketing is a serious problem faced by tourists, especially those who travel to poorer countries. Here are photos of some pickpockets caught in action.

STOMPer Artful Dodger, who sent in these pictures, said:

"These sly thieves are very well trained and often work in groups. While one of them may 'accidentally' bump into you, ask for directions or distract you in some other way, his accomplice would slip his hand into your bag and steal your wallet.

"What's worrying is that many of these pickpockets are young children, trained by adult thieves.

"So the next time you travel, beware of these crafty crooks, and make sure your valuables are always within sight when you go out."

It angers me when I see frozen people just standing around staring as if it's a free show instead of helping
