Anyway, those supermarkets doesn't seems to care and quietly allowing this to happen.

If they really want to tackle this problems they should have already take actions against those inconsiderate shoppers in which i have seen none being dealt with

supermarket trolley belongs to supermarket but people are pushing it everywhere even in MRT. obviously its a theft. police should look into it.

well, as long as the trolley is brought out from the supermarket premises, it is considered as stealing. although the supervisor in charge wil just warn you for such a small thing though...

@statuario
he bring the whole trolley home including the $1..isn't it the same??

I see people so boldly trotting to the market pushing these trolleys meant for supermarkets. And likewise trotting back from the supermarkets to go home.
They dont think anything of stealing these trolleys. But on the other hand our supermarkets are happy cashing in the $$$$ from us customers. With the influx of foreigners , our supermarkets are making probably millions everyday...DO YOU THINK THEY CARE IF LOSE A FEW TROLLEYS.?

A thief with guts but no brains.
A neighbour with ethics but no balls (physically and mentally).
We have a well-balanced neighbourhood here, people!
