STOMPer Bobby was enraged that Filipinos allowed the media to snap pictures of the victims of the hijacked Philippine tourist bus. In the video the STOMPer sent in, the coffins are opened for the press photographers.

This incident comes in the wake of the outrage over pictures showing Philippine policemen and students smiling and posing in front of the tour bus involved in the hostage crisis.

On Monday, Aug 23, eight Hong Kong tourists were killed when an ex-policeman hijacked the bus in Manila. The gunman had done this in a desperate attempt to get his job back.

The hostages were rescued when Philippine security forces arrived, however eight tourists and the gunman were dead after the ordeal.

STOMPer Bobby wrote in an email this morning (Aug 26):

"The world has been so disappointed with the Philippines for their actions with regard to the bus hijacking issue.

"I happened to come across this video which was shared on Facebook.

"Therefore I shall continue to share this upsetting and terrible news to even more people.

"In the first place, why and who are they to open the coffins to allow the reporters to take photographs of the dead. For WHAT reasons?

"The whole world is so upset for the families for the Philippines' actions.

"PHILIPPINES, this isn't a joke! It is not a news item that is worth hits for whichever publication.

"It is not funny. It is your country's RESPONSIBILITY to prevent such a case to happen."

Wow. Bobby versus the whole population of the Philippines? Better ask mommy to hide him away before he's forced to drink up a can of whoop-ass. Certain authorities may be to blame but not everyone in the country please.

The contributor should refrain from using general terms like the 'Philippine's action' and 'PHILIPPINES, this isn't a joke!' why not use the terms 'The Philippine Government, Philippine/Filipino Media, Philippine/Filipino Officials or Philippine/Filipino Authorities.' You sound like the whole Filipinos should be blame here. As you stated, this issue is not funny. Indeed, it is not funny.
Well, just a point for you to consider. A constructive criticism, no offense meant.

Well said digitalpimp. I am a Filipino and I hate what had happened... I hate how the police handled the crisis... I hated the insensitive media... I hate the family of the hostage taker wjo act like they are the victim... I hate the government for being plain stupid... Like those HK nationals, we are also victims of that ONE STUPID and SELFISH HOSTAGE TAKER! jobs were lost, economy dips, morale at its low... Just be thankful for what you have and not suffering like us..

to headandshoulders69: yes, no one does want something like this to happen. not to ourselves, or to any nation.
to smokemachine1980: i have asked many times for forgiveness, from God and from the people who are hurting. waiting for the Holy Spirit to heal our souls.
this is a very tragic event even for us filipinos. that the depression and frustration of one man caused the failure of a few men and the hatred of the whole world towards our whole country.
we held a mass in the place of the crime. a lot of us communed to pray for the victims, prayed for forgiveness, prayed for healing, prayed for improvement
i hope this is also seen by the world.
