Unfortunately, STOMPer L J was a victim herself. She hopes that fellow STOMPers, especially females with long straight hair, would watch out for this 'psycho' on SBS bus 74 who apparently goes around snipping people's hair with a pair of scissors.
The STOMPer said in an email to us today (Mar 19):
"I want to highlight to the public that there is a psychopathic guy on the loose snipping off other people's hair.
"This morning (Mar 19) at 7.40am, I boarded SBS bus 74e (a single decker bus plate number 2723K) to work from the Hougang direction.
"At 8.30am, I felt some movements in my hair while in the bus and realised that my hair was being snipped!
"There was only one guy sitting behind me – he was at least in his 50s, Chinese, balding, greyish hair, not wearing spectacles and plump. He was wearing a uniform – white top with red sleeves.
"I followed the psychopathic Chinese guy down the bus and he turned around asking why I was following him. I then questioned him about what he had done to me.
"He threw a pair of steel foldable scissors on the road. When I tried to pick up the scissors, he pushed me away and ran towards the direction of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
"He usually boards bus 74 at the Serangoon North bus stop at Serangoon Community Club.
"This is not the first case!
"Three years ago, my colleague’s and my hair were also cut but on separate occasions on bus 74!
"I did not make a police report previously as I only realised it when I alighted and could not identify anyone. However my colleague did report her case to the police.
"This happened to a friend’s sister too who told the bus driver to stop the bus and got the police to come. The same guy denied it but the police found a pair of scissors in his pocket when they searched his body.
"I realised that he has always targeted females with long straight hair. This is a common characteristic between me and the other two victims.
"And like the previous cases, he alighted at King Albert Park MacDonalds bus stop (one stop before Ngee Ann Polytechnic).
"I hope my unfortunate encounter will bring awareness to the public and especially to those who take bus 74!"

Well... this guy is bound to get beaten up someday if he keeps up with this behavior.
