STOMPer Squuzy was amused by how these three China girls managed to make full use of the limited number of seats on board the MRT.

He told us in an email today (Feb 8):

"I was on the train heading towards Pasir Ris yesterday (Feb 7) when I saw this squeezy act by 3 women from China.

"How do I know they were from China? Their accent was a big give-away.

"Somewhat oblivious to stares around them, they were still giggling and laughing while the people opposite and beside them were wondering: Are we supposed to squeeze 3 people into 2 seats going forward?"

Hahaha... I just saw three Singaporean ladies in their 20s, squeezing at the corner seats (2 seater) near the train doors last night. Economies of space... and it's not such a bad trend after all

Whoa. Totally awesome, totally economic use of valuable space on the MRT. *likes!*

Did MRT state that 2 seats cannot sit 3 people?
So you expect her to sit on floor lah. You havent seen worse when people sit on floor & near exits in the MRT train, blocking the way & talks loudly as if its their own vehicle that's worst.

Maximizing minimum resources, i would say good job without causing disturbance or disruption to anyone.
