Taxi driver runs back to grab money from burning cab
Tweet
STOMPer Annabel was shocked to see the taxi driver running back to his burning vehicle to grab his money, despite the danger.
In her email to STOMP today (Nov 3), the 19-year-old who works in admin wrote:
"On Sunday (Nov 1), my husband was driving from AYE toward CTE, before the tunnel we saw a taxi on fire.
“And yet the taxi driver still ran back to the car to collect his money. The fire got bigger and we heard a loud ‘boom’.”

He needs the money because well these cabs are rented.Costs around 90 bucks per day for the rent so yeah if he didn't collect the money he needs to fork out cash from his pocket to pay rent. Not to mention he needs the cash to feed his family.
