Life's cheap for these cyclists who recklessly beat red light
STOMPer Patric caught a group of cyclists beating the red light at Loyang Avenue on September 11.
Patric said:
"This group of cyclists were spotted yesterday (11 Sept) at 9pm.
"They beat the red light along Loyang Avenue and Pasir Ris Drive 3 junction."

1. You cannot beat them join them
2. Fact is cyclists are regulated under the RTA (Road Traffic Act). Deal with it
3. I understand they do not pay ERP, COE, road tax etc. But hey neither do pedestrains! Yet you have to build sidewalks, bridges and corssings for them!!! Why don't we all chip in? Get a handheld ERP unit and get zapped as u walk! Nice right????
4.And if I pay ERp does that mean cars will give me the required space? As it is drivers don't even know motorbikes pay 70% of their road tax....so based on the logic of if i pay more i got more rights, then motorcyclists should have the lane all to themselves. Just think about the traffic situation then! Coz if I pay for my bicycle too, I don;t wanna share the lane with anyone else!
Having said all that, I do not condone what those cyclists are doing. But do some some perspective ok ignorant drivers?
