ITE male students wear panties in public during friend's birthday

STOMPer Joe was shocked to see photos of male ITE students in panties circulating on Facebook.

The STOMPer said:

"When I logged on to Facebook, I was shocked to see such photos circulating on my news feed.

"Apparently, these students were having a celebration for a friend's birthday.

"However, it seems really unsightly to be posting such degrading photos on Facebook.

"Furthermore, these students are supposed to be from Business courses in ITE.

"I would have thought they would be a lot more refined than this."

@stomper joe what wrong having fun for birthday sabo event even u ite student. You are not the one wearing the underwaer First of all are u ite student? haven u been in thier life.Ite student might be playful they still human for me it ok it just for memory from what diffrent school ite they have diffrent way of celebrate birthday for my school we will be trow in fish pond and it a great memory for us.

Hmm.. Business Course then cannot have fun? I saw before wedding photos, for those chinese traditional customary, the groom and his brothers were asked to wear paper underwear, and I believe it’s considered in the public too. So, what’s the issue here?

Is it because they are from ITE then you wanna criticize them? If so, just admit will do. Dun have to phrase it so nicely "I would have thought they would be a lot more refined than this.", but the fact is indirectly inslutting them.

Poor kids.

This kind of article/stories and degradings shows how ugly some Singaporeans are. Something norm were made to see as degradation because of a couple of close-minds who made the news. They should look at themselves on mirror.

Anyway, I have no qualms against these acts as it is done in the name of good fun. However, I feel that the should at least change into their home clothes before doing it. It really gives a negative impression of the school and its kind of degrading for the school in a sense.
