Boys imitate the Amazing Spiderman by trying out stunts on HDB rooftop

STOMPer Rob spotted these two kids trying out stunts on the roof at Ghim Moh Valley. He worries for their safety.

Rob said:

"I saw this at Ghim Mon Valley at 4pm yesterday.

"These kids must have watched the recent blockbuster 'The Amazing Spiderman'.

"They tried out stunts on the roof of the covered walkways.

"I urge the authorities to take this seriously as the covered walkway in this picture is 4 storeys off the ground level.

"Who is going to be responsible for any accidents?

"And also, this is a security hazard as the roof of the covered walkway links directly to the window of a unit of the 4th storey, making it easy for burglary to happen.

"Is the town council responsible or is HDB responsible for the design faults in their HDB projects?"

I believe most of the sports and stunt are restricted to do or play in some places in singapore(example:rooftop) without any professional supervise or permission from organisation or community

I think thats why government organise sasuke singapore for this kind of people.Usually what i know is that people who have background in calisthenics or gymnastics can excel in this sports.Either that they are just fanboys and they might hurt themselves.

I'm just an ordinary citizen who care for the safety of my fellow Singaporeans, unlike the many low-graded and ignorant people here who blasted every other posts and think that they can do everything anywhere.

Who are u to judge that they're doing parkour when u weren't there to witness in the 1st place? Or are you one of the teenage boys in the story and wanna defend your actions?

And even if they're doing it, is it the right place to do it? At a 4-storey high platform, putting not only your own life at risks, and also creating disturbance to others?

@robbieczh You dont act like some upper class citizen.Do you really think this guys dont have the fitness to do this.I bet you cant even do a pull up.To be in the sport, you must be very fit.If you put in a different context,i have a few of my recruits who are into parkour and they have no problems in the army.If you are a negative minded person, then im sorry for you.If you really say this are for thugs then why the government organize urban challenge and sasuke singapore and also theres a show that was shown in chnl 5 which is parkour challenge.YES,this sport is dangerous but if you take precautions and have a good body fitness then you are okay to do the sports.Same for others sport like surfboarding, skateboarding, longboard and other extreme sports. So i hope i will be able to educate you.

@robbieczh You dont talk like you ade that educated.People like you are too mainstream to think that its not a sport. If you say people doing this is stupid.then why the government promote events like urban challenge few years ago.and the upcoming sasuke singapore. Please use your brain when you want to talk.If people had passion to do it then why not.If you dont bother to this and not fit enough to do it,you should just shut the ***** up.
