STOMPer Ron Starr feels that youths are able to treat anywhere like it is their home, after he came across a youth who was seen stretching out on board bus number 162 yesterday (Jun 28).
The STOMPer wrote:
"It was a normal day in Singapore bus 162 around 5pm on Thursday (Jun 28).
"The bus was half full and everyone had their eyes on this secondary school boy who was using the Front area of the bus as a bed to sleep on.
"It was hilarious to many people as I saw the many smiles on their faces.
"The boy had been there lying down for a whole 45 minutes.
"People who were entering the bus simply took one look at him and walked past smiling.
"The driver did not even bother to tell him to move.
"He then proceeded to put 2 legs on the window seal beside him, which acted as a resting cushion for his legs.
"Youngsters these days are able to treat anywhere like it is their home.
"On a serious note, public behaviour in Singapore must remain serious.
"Let this be a reminder to youngsters out there, this may disturb other people as well. Specially on a public bus."
