Not fit to be teachers if they insult and poke fun at students

One called a pupil 'too fat' and told him to 'lose weight' when the pupil asked the teacher for help when he was unable to buckle his shorts. STOMPer Shocked Person feels these people should not be teachers.

Said the STOMPer:

"I'm thoroughly shocked by these teachers on my facebook.

"They regularly post very offensive material about children they teach, and some are just drenched with evil intention.

"I have written into MOE without success of them reaching me at all.

"I really hope such evil teachers and their unacceptable behavior comes to light."

Read about the case of an ex-relief teacher who lost his job for saying he wanted to slap his pupils. He also called them 'slow' and insulted their parents.

Teachers will always punish students for being rude to them, and yet the teachers themselves are now behaving in this way. What atrocious nonsense is this?

I still get college students like that. That's exactly what I tell them: Why is that my problem? They'll enter the workforce in a few years! Can you imagine having colleagues who run to you each time they have the tiniest problem? And they mess up your work. You so free, izit?

@soupypoopie

what's wrong with a teacher speaking singlish at home?

it's not as if they're teaching their students to use singlish in essays etc.

same thing, if a teacher wants to smoke and drink in his/her personal time, that's the teacher's prerogative.

not that singlish is 'bad english'. singlish is officially considered a pidgin, governed by its own rules, and can be considered a language by itself.

get an education, bro.

Don't see anything wrong with this..... it's some humour that these teachers can relate to in time. Not like they're marginalising the kid......!

Why try to teach idiots how to speak proper English when this is how they speak at home: "lost tie ownself buy la."?

Singaporeans don't speak English, they chew on it, choke, and then puke it up.
